A keen worker and an active learner with good communication skills, Can work in a team or on own initiative with the ability to analyse problems and find a suitable solution.
I have a good mechanically and electrically orientated mind along with my IT skills.
I like to provide a service focussed to the customers needs.
I also get great satisfaction from a job well done.
Having used Delphi 7, 2010, for too many years, I now have access to Rad Studio 10.2.3 Tokyo enabling learn up-to-date technologies with Firemonkey, Live Bindings and Android, IOS, OSX, Windows Mobile and development for mobile devices.
Having access to the full RAD Studio will also give me the opportunity to refresh my old knowledge of C programming.
Over the last 5 years I have also heavily used virtualisation using Virtualbox and VMWare Tools for the testing and development of bespoke software.
I also have old knowledge Oracle (8i), and National Instruments LabVIEW.
Over the years I have developed, maintained and inherited from other developer’s bespoke software systems for various companies within the EPWIN Group.
Software suits include a central marketing database system, fleet management systems and Customer order tracking/scheduling systems with a varying database back ends.
Also to develop/maintain Delphi applications and utilities for manufacturing and interfacing between ERP systems.
Currently looking at developing new systems using mobile devices to record the delivery of manufactured items to the final customer.
During my time in this position I have taken control of this software suite and added many new features and new communication protocols for new products as they have been released.
The Paradox back end was eventually replaced by Oracle, and due to this I became more involved in designing and writing Delphi INAPSI applications for the retrieval of the configuration data from Oracle through WEB based viewer.
